Reflections

Prior Park in Bath offered yet another opportunity for me to practise using my new Canon EOS 400D DSLR camera.  Using natural light (and unfortunately, the Auto setting as at the time I was so new to photography), I managed to capture the following images of reflections in water.  I used an 18-135mm zoom lens as this was the only lens I had with me at the time, but a wide-angle lens would've improved this image.

I post-processed these images in Picassa (before I discovered Photoshop!) by adjusting the colour and warmth of the tones.  No other processing took place.

If I took this picture again, I would NOT use Auto mode, but instead either TV (Shutter speed priority to capture sharper movement of the water), or Manual, and set the camera to around F/5.6, the white balance to 'cloudy' (as it was a cloudy day), ISO 400 and shutter speed to around 1/250.
